A Christmas Wish - Coming True. 

In December 2024, I gifted my family blank CDs with the promise: I would record a jazz album in 2025. To be honest, it was more a hope than plan. However over the course of this year, in between rehearsals, performances, auditions, client calls, and some sushi, this dream is slowly becoming a reality. This invite-only page marks the very first step of that promise becoming real.

Only a very small circle has access to this music and this moment. You are here because you have supported me in ways that made it possible for me to keep choosing the art I love. You give me the courage to keep going.Thank you for the making the three-hour drives to watch me cross a stage for one minute dressed as a monkey. Thank you for the late-night phone calls after my “worst audition ever,” and for celebrating just minutes later when a callback came through. Thank you for every encouraging text, voice memo, check-in, and word of wisdom that carried me from one creative leap to the next. Thank you for holding me through the lows, cheering me through the highs, and embracing every emotion in between—because this year has held many.

When I first said, “I’m making a jazz album,” I had no idea where to begin. But so often in my life and career, "not knowing" has became the perfect blank canvas to create something greater than I could ever imagine. I am endlessly grateful to the talented Daniel Markowitz - pianist, producer, and pottery extraordinaire - with whom I’ve been collaborating with. His guidance, optimism and musical genius has made this dream much more real with each track we record. I am equally grateful to his wife Bea for her friendship, letting us record in their home, and for cheering us on at our events. Thank you, both!

Daniel and I wanted to share this "Live Christmas EP" with a very select few of you as we continue to create. It isn’t perfect - it isn’t meant to be. It’s an invitation to join us on our creative journey. Included is a bonus track, which we will be releasing later in the year.
